Kofi Amoabin

Executive Director - Board Chairman

Kofi Amoabin is the Executive Director for FONAA Institute. Amoabin has worked with FONAA since 2005 and has held various leadership roles within FONAA Institute.

Amoabin comes to FONAA with the requisite experience from international consulting, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurial skills for realization of Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision to deliver a solution to the leadership crises that Africa faces.

As example, Amoabin talks about how Koreans in Diaspora returned to Korea and transformed the new country in the 1950s, just about the time Ghana was seeking independence from the British.

Amoabin has worked as an international consultant since 2008.  His roles encompassed projects in the US, Germany, UK, Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Tanzania, and Uganda, before assuming his current role at FONAA Institute. These international projects give him different perspectives on comparative solutions to leadership challenges in Africa, which FONAA seeks to address.
